Check the earlier measles-containing dose
Bring the nine-month record and any MR or MMR campaign entries. The clinician decides which dose is next and whether the required interval has passed. A second dose should be documented clearly so future school or travel record checks are easier.
Plan the chickenpox course
Varicella vaccination protects against chickenpox and has its own product-specific timing. Tell the clinician about previous chickenpox, immune problems, medicines or recent live vaccines. Ask when the next dose will be due and record it rather than assuming one injection finishes every course.
Keep later boosters separate in the plan
The DTP, Hib and polio booster review generally follows in the 16–18 month period in private schedules. Government programme booster windows differ. Ask for a written plan showing what is due now, what is due next and what has already been completed.
