Which vaccines should a 2-year-old review?

Bring records of infant and toddler doses, including DTP, Hib, polio, MMR, pneumococcal, hepatitis A, varicella and typhoid vaccination. This is a record check rather than a prescription to repeat every vaccine. Your paediatrician identifies any incomplete courses and sets catch-up dates.

Annual influenza vaccination at 2 years

The IAP timetable recommends annual influenza vaccination through five years. The clinician checks earlier flu doses, the current seasonal product and age eligibility before advising the next dose. An initial two-dose course and later annual doses serve different purposes.

MCV at two years: discuss the indication

Meningococcal conjugate vaccination depends on medical risk, travel, prior doses and the licensed product. It is not a universal extra dose after a completed infant course. Ask the paediatrician whether a dose is needed and which product and interval apply before booking.

2 year vaccination cost and home visits

Costs depend on the vaccines actually due, prescribed brands and the visit fee for your PIN. Review the catalog and ask for an itemised total. 2 year vaccination: parent questions

Is there a compulsory 2-year vaccine package?

There is no single package for every child. Review annual flu vaccination and any outstanding or individually indicated doses.

Should MCV be repeated at two years after doses at 9 and 12 months?

Do not assume another dose is required. The clinician must review the earlier product, dose dates and indication.

How can I check the cost for a 2-year-old?

Use the availability form and review clinician-advised items and the separate home-visit fee before confirming.

How do I prepare for a home vaccination visit?

Keep the vaccination card and prescription ready. Share illness, allergies, previous reactions and medicines. Ask about the vaccine’s storage, expiry, batch record, observation period and emergency arrangements before the visit.

What should I do after vaccination?

Follow the clinician’s observation and aftercare advice. Soreness or fever may occur. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, collapse or a baby who appears very unwell; do not wait for an online reply.

What happens after I check availability?

The form sends the phone number, PIN, birth date and selected age group to support@vaccihub.in, then opens the child vaccination booking page with that age group in the cart. A PIN not listed online needs manual service confirmation. Review dose history, brand suitability, stock and appointment timing before confirming.
